Pictures show a large police presence on Easter Sunday after reports of an 'illegal gathering' in between Sutton and Croydon.
Police were called to reports of people gathering in groups across several locations on Sunday, April 4.
An eyewitness said they noticed a large police presence as "groups descended" on Therapia Lane Tram stop at around 10pm.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: "Police were made aware of people gathering in Croydon, on the evening of Sunday, 4 April in several locations including Endeavour Way, Ampere Way and Therapia Lane.
"Officers in the area engaged with the individuals present and advised them to leave the area and to go home.
"The groups were dispersed, and no further action was taken."
