Londoners basked in mild temperatures and spring sunshine on Monday (March 22) as the Met Office forecast little chance of rainfall for the start of the week.
However, the mild and sunny spring weather is expected to give way to colder temperatures from Thursday.
Highs of 13 and 14 degrees Celsius are expected by the weather agency in south London this week after Monday saw London's parks swell with walkers and sport enthusiasts including at least one paraglider (pictured).
Tuesday in the region looks set to be sunny too according the the Met Office forecast.
And while Wednesday will see the Spring atmosphere give way to a more cloudy day, there is little rain forecast.

An area of high pressure over the south east UK explained the sunshine at the start of the week, the Met Office said.
However, that was expected to dissipate during Wednesday and be replaced by lower pressure and accompanying rainfall over London into Thursday.
Colder temperatures and wetter weather are subsequently expected from Friday.
