Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to following a robbery on-board a train between Wimbledon and Worcester Park on January 31. 

The victim was approached by a man in the train carriage who showed him a knife and threatened to stab the victim if he didn’t give the man his phone.

The victim then gave the man his earphones, and the man walked off before returning and demanding the victim’s phone and threatened to stab him again.

Instead the victim offered cash, and the man followed him to a cashpoint at Worcester Park before running away.

The British Transport Police said the incident took place just after 1.30pm on Sunday January 31. 

Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
