TWO young men have been charged following a robbery near Wallington Square last week.
Police were called to reports of a robbery on Ross Road on Tuesday, January 26.
The two suspects were arrested for the offence the same day.
It was later found that the two youths had committed an attempted robbery moments before in an alleyway between Clarendon Road and Stafford Road.
A spokesperson for Sutton Police said: "Officers conducted an extensive CCTV trawl and identified them, they worked through the night to ensure that they could be charged.
"Both were charged and remanded with the offences and pleaded guilty at Court.
"Both received a 9-month referral order and one youth was ordered to pay compensation to both victims."
