Glenthorne High School has been forced to close after a surge in coronavirus cases.
The school, located on Sutton Common Road, confirmed that both staff and pupils have tested positive with Covid-19.
The announcement follows a letter sent to parents on December 4, which confirmed that 80 people had tested positive since October half term.
It was confirmed that 66 pupils and 14 members of staff had become infected with the virus.
The letter stated that 100 pupils were told to self-isolate at the time the letter was published.
Wimbledon Times contacted Glenthorne High School this morning ( December 14). The school confirmed that pupils had switched to remote learning.
The school is still operating, however, no pupils are allowed on site.
