The latest Public Health England figures show that Covid-19 infection rates are continuing to fall in the majority of south east London.

Excluding Bromley and Lewisham, all south east London boroughs saw cases decrease in the past week.

Friday's PHE update shows that a majority of areas in England have seen a fall in case rates, with 250 out of 315 seeing a decline.

The figures, for the seven days to November 30, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government's testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two).

They show the coronavirus infection rate, expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people:

Bromley has seen its Covid-19 rate rise from 124.9 to 164.6 after recording 547 new cases in the past week.

Lewisham also saw a rise in cases, however, a small one compared to Bromley, rising from 96.5 to 107.6 in the past week.
