A bus service has been introduced for residents who have moved into a new housing development.

Bloor Homes has created a 338 service for Harperbury Park, a development of around 200 two, three, four, and five-bed homes in Harper Lane, near Radlett.

The service will connect Harperbury Park with Radlett station and Colney Fields Shopping Park in London Colney.

The bus service, run by Lucketts of Watford, will run on weekdays and Saturdays, with half price tickets for key workers.

Lucketts have been providing support to NHS workers and other key workers throughout the Covid crisis.

Jack Costello, regional sales director at Bloor Homes South Midlands, said: "Our Harperbury Park residents will be able to reach a range of local and regional destinations, including London, by connecting bus and train services in Radlett and at Colney Fields Shopping Centre.

"The bus service has proven popular with our residents and locals, whilst our residents have been able to use a £150 travel voucher provided by Bloor Homes for the 338 bus service."

Bloor Homes says the introduction of the bus route makes Harperbury Park more sustainable - it comes after the housebuilder teamed up with bike companies to offer new electric bikes to its first buyers.

Bloor Homes joined forces with Giant Radlett and Cadence Performance back in February for a 'Go Green' event - Susanne Selvadurai was selected to receive a new bike, which was given to her earlier this month.
