Police have confirmed an incident which saw multiple stabbings in Garratt Lane, near the Southside shopping centre, is not being treated as terror related.

Two males were arrested following the incident, which took place at around 5pm when officers on patrol came across a group of males fighting.

One of the two stab victims was described as being in a "life-threatening condition", while a third male suffering a head injury and the second stab victim were described as "not believed to be in a life-threatening" condition.

The suspects were arrested on suspicion of GBH and affray.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward with further information by calling 101 and giving the reference: CAD 5042/29 Oct.

Road closures and an extensive crime scene are in place on Thursday evening (October 29).

A Section 60 Order has been authrosied for the whole of Wandsworth from 5.58pm.
