Police have sealed off part of Garratt Lane outside Southside shopping centre this evening (October 29) after two males were stabbed and a third injured.

Footage from the scene shows a large police presence outside Sainsbury's, with a cordon having been established to close off Garratt Lane to traffic.

Met Police has since confirmed that officers had come across a group of males fighting in Garratt Lane at around 5pm.

Two were found near the Garratt Lane Burial Ground suffering from knife injuries.

A third was found at the scene with a head inury.

One witness from the scene described seeing "at least two people" being stabbed - adding that police appeared to tackle a potential suspect in the nearby graveyard.

Another person in a building nearby said they had heard shouts for help.

A Met Police spokesman added: "Two males have been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH and affray.

"Full enquiries into the circumstances continue.

"Road closures and an extensive crime scene are in place.

"A Section 60 Order has been authrosied for the whole of Wandsworth from 17:58hrs.
