One man was taken to hospital after a nasty-looking crash involving two lorries and a car on the A2 Blackwall Tunnel approach in Greenwich.
The crash, which took place in the early morning of Monday, October 26, caused heavy traffic throughout the morning in south east London, as well as leaving the car looking worse for wear.
The London Fire Brigade were called along with the London Ambulance Service at around 8:30am to the Blackwall Tunnel Southern approach near the Sun in the Sands junction.
Two lorries and a car were involved in a collision.
Luckily, an off-duty police officer and nurse performed were at the scene and able to provide first aid before firefighters arrived.
The LFB then cut a man from the car, and he was taken to hospital by LAS crews.
Two fire engines from East Greenwich and Greenwich fire stations and a fire rescue unit from Lewisham Fire Station attended the scene.
