POLICE were called to reports of seven males fighting on Phipps Bridge estate last Sunday.

Officers from the South West BCUs Violence Suppression Unit were called to the estate at around 5.50 pm on October 18.

VCU Officers soon arrived and conducted a search of the area on foot and in a vehicle and came upon a group of four youths matching the description given by a member of public.

One member of the group was seen to discard a knife which was immediately recovered from officers where he was stopped.
