Police revealed Wednesday night (October 21) they have arrested two more people in the ongoing inquiry into the murder of Loeike Guei in Mitcham.

A 27-year-old man [E] and a 69-year-old woman [F] were arrested by Met Police officers on Wednesday, October 21, both on suspicion of murder and perverting the course of justice.

Both remain in custody at present in West London.

They join the growing number of people arrested in the wake of Loeike's killing.

The Thornton Heath man, aged 23, died after reportedly being set on fire in the Mitcham area.

Police were called to Commonside East in Mitcham, Merton, on Thursday, September 17, where they found his body.

Three other men have been charged as follows:

[A] Raphael Kokkinos, 33 (16.08.87) of Polworth Road, SW16 appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 25 September.

[B] Aaron Williams, 28 (25.07.92), of Warwick Gardens, Thornton Heath, Croydon, was charged in the early hours of Sunday 27 September with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Monday 28 September.

[D] Joseph Kokkinos – 30 (10.11.89) of Chelsham Road, SW4 appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 1 October.

[A], [B] and [D] are remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 18 December.

[C] A 31-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, 29 September on suspicion of murder; following an interview he has been released with no further action.
