A NEW walk-through Covid-19 testing site has opened as the government tries to improve access for people in Merton.
The site, which opened at Merton College, will be available to those who are suffering from coronavirus symptoms and have booked online.
This test involves taking a swab of the inside of your nose and the back of your throat, using a long cotton bud. It checks if you currently have the virus.
Mitcham and Morden MP Siobhain McDonagh recently informed residents by email.
She said: "I know that there have been many people struggling to get a coronavirus test when they need one.
"I hope that this will make testing more readily available for anyone who needs one."
