A MAN was found dead in Mitcham in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to reports of a man on fire on Commonside East at 6.12 am on September 17.
Officers attended and found the body of a man, who is yet to be identified.
A police cordon has been set up on Commonside East both ways between B272 Manor Road and Cedars Avenue.
A spokesperson for Met Police: "The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
"A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
