Your Local Guardian:

“Godfrey was always happy, bubbly and full of energy but most of all he adored his family.

"This fundraiser means so much to our family.

This was a sudden death and no one expected this which is the reason we made the GoFundMe as we hadn’t saved for a funeral.

"We were shocked by how quickly people started to donate.

"We are so grateful and appreciate all the donations and people sharing the page.

"It has put a smile on all our faces each time we see more money being donated.

A beautiful kind soul like Godfrey deserves a beautiful send-off.

"We can’t express how much the page has helped us and we know Godfrey would also be so grateful."

Donations reached £3,915 at the time of publishing.
