A family are fundraising following the death of their father after he suffered an unexpected stroke.
Godfrey Ampomah, 55, died from a hemorrhagic stroke on July 29.
His next of kin found him dead inside his flat after his employer called to say he hadn't arrived to work.
Known for his love of music and fashion, the DJ leaves behind his three children; Laurie 21, Ruby 17 and Freddie 13.
Speaking to Sutton Guardian, campaign organiser, Shannon Hastings-Ampomah said: "Godfrey was a healthy 55-year-old man.
"He adored his children and was always doing fun things with them.
"He was also a loving brother to his younger sisters Michelle and Rosie.
"He loved his music and showed everyone new music.
“Godfrey was always happy, bubbly and full of energy but most of all he adored his family.
"This fundraiser means so much to our family.
This was a sudden death and no one expected this which is the reason we made the GoFundMe as we hadn’t saved for a funeral.
"We were shocked by how quickly people started to donate.
"We are so grateful and appreciate all the donations and people sharing the page.
"It has put a smile on all our faces each time we see more money being donated.
A beautiful kind soul like Godfrey deserves a beautiful send-off.
"We can’t express how much the page has helped us and we know Godfrey would also be so grateful."
Donations reached £3,915 at the time of publishing.
