TWO women were arrested on suspicion of trying to snatch watches worth £70,000 from a jewellery shop.

Police were called to W Bruford at The Beacon shopping centre in Eastbourne on July 21 at 4.30pm.

Two Rolex watches were taken from the store.

Now officers want to track down five men they believe may have also been involved in the incident.

Two women aged 25 and 27 were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the thefts and were released on bail until August 18.

The first suspect is a black man with braided hair who wore a black jacket with a grey hooded top below, and a colourful face mask.

Then the second man is white with short red hair, a grey hooded top and blue jeans.

The third and fourth suspects are both black men, one in a grey hooded top with a baseball cap and black mask, and the other with short hair, a light colour shirt and dark trousers.

Finally the last suspect is a black man wearing a dark jacket with a white trim, and dark trousers.

Anyone who witnessed what happened, or who recognises the five men shown in CCTV images are asked to come forward.
