A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car.

The girl suffered a leg injury in the crash in Galsworthy Road, Goring.

Police joined ambulance crews at the scene shortly after 3.30pm.

The air ambulance was also called and landed in a nearby field to assist with the treatment of the youngster.

The girl was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton to receive treatment for her leg injury.

Police say her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing at this time.

But the force is now trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
