A 16-year-old girl has reportedly broken her leg after an accident jumping into the River Cray yesterday, and has been taken to hospital.
A number of children have reportedly been jumping into the river from the Five Arches Bridge during the sunny weather.
Paramedics were called around 5pm on Thursday after one of the youngsters, a girl aged 16, suffered a suspected broken leg when she jumped.
Paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene, and other children who were continuing to jump in the exact same way, allegedly became abusive they were warned it wasn't safe.
The London Ambulance Service said they were called at 5:01pm on June 25, dispatching two ambulance crews.
Also attending the scene were an incident response officer and a number of other resources including hazardous area response teams.
LAS said: "We treated a teenager at the scene and took her to hospital."
