BEACH hut owners have been written to by police after a spate of break-ins.
In the letter shared to the Hove Seafront Residents Association the force said a number of owners reported thefts and damage.
Police said: “You may have seen an increase in the number of police officers because a number of beach huts have been recently broken into.
“In all cases the break-ins have been happening late at night as there is less people around [sic]. We are increasing patrols to try and [sic] prevent this.”
Suspicious behaviour can be reported to the police on 101, quoting 47200077142.
