A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a car rolled.

Brighton and Hove Buses services were forced to divert after the incident blocked Manor Hill in Brighton at about 12.30pm.

The 45-year-old driver of the car has been taken to hospital after suffering an arm injury in the crash.

The road has since been reopened and buses have returned to normal routes.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to reports of an overturned vehicle in Manor Hill, Brighton at 12.30pm on Thursday.

"The driver - a 45-year-old woman - suffered an arm injury and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

"Road closures were in place but have since been lifted.

"Anyone who witnessed what happened can report online or call 101, quoting serial 668 of 28/05."
