A FORMER Olympic medallist is inviting people to join his fitness classes.
Diving champion Leon Taylor has designed a pay-what-you-can exercise class to help people with their mental health and movement under lockdown.
The Brightonian said: “Mental health is greatly impacted by physical inactivity and I am proof of that.
“When I was injured, I was forced to stop diving and my self-esteem suffered. I only got better and found my lost passion for the sport by slowly getting back into it.
“It’s about finding your movement, the physical activity that fills you with joy; this will be the force to guide you away from mental health un-wellness to a healthier mental state.
“In this time of uncertainty it is even more important to look after your mental health and your fitness. If you are at home with the kids, dogs or by yourself, Mindset and Movement is a great way to take time for yourself.”
You can sign up to the class for just £1 at https://bookings.leontaylor.co.uk/mindsetandmovement
