Beddington Park has remained fairly quiet following the first weekend since lockdown was eased.

Pictures show residents enjoying the restriction ease whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines.

People were seen enjoying picnics, long strolls and sunbathing at the park after almost two months of being restricted to one hour of daily exercise.

The government's latest rules say, in England, you can now: "Spend time outdoors, including exercise, alone, with your household, or with one person who is not in your household as long as you stay two metres apart.

"You can exercise more than once a day, take part in other outdoor activities and drive to outdoor open spaces, irrespective of distance."

In the councils most recent statement, Sutton Council remind residents to follow social distancing guidelines.

"Please keep at least 2 metres between you and other people at all times- apart from those with whom you live with.

"This is particularly important in our parks, with warmer weather and greater use, we still risk putting each other in danger. "
