A moped driver was rushed to hospital after he was knocked down by an unmarked police car in Brockley.
The crash occurred last night at around 11pm on St Norbert Road.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to a south London hospital by ambulance services, where he received treatment for injuries to his leg, which have been deemed non-life threatening.
Pictures show a significant number of police on the scene in the aftermath, as they moved to close off the area.
The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards were made aware and they have referred it to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which handles complaints against the police force.
