A FIRE ripped through a shed leaving the structure completely destroyed.
The blaze started in Hook Lane, Bognor, shortly before 4pm on Friday.
Fire crews were called to the scene to fight the inferno, which left only the bones of the shed as it decimated the building.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman advised all residents living nearby to keep all windows and doors closed as smoke billowed into the sky.
The fire took more than an hour to stop, eventually being extinguished at about 5.15pm. But crews remained at the scene for several hours afterwards “turning over and damping down to eliminate any remaining hotspots”.
