The number of Government-confirmed coronavirus cases in South West London has risen to 284.

Released daily by the Government and Public Health England, the latest Covid-19 statistics, accurate as of 9am on Thursday, March 19, show there are now 3,269 cases in the UK, with 2,756 in London.

There have also been 144 recorded deaths.

Borough by borough, Lambeth has the most cases in South West London with 81, while Wandsworth has 75. Both boroughs rank in the top five nation wide for most cases.

Croydon has 49 confirmed cases of Covid-19, Merton has reported 39, Sutton and Kingston both have 14 while Richmond has 12.

Elsewhere in the capital, Southwark has 82 and Westminster has 78.

Public Health England are not disclosing specific details about individual cases.

In South West London there were 200 cases the previous day.
