A man has been charged following the stabbing murder of a teenager in Kingston last month.

Archie Beston, 19 and from Barnes, was found with fatal stab wounds on February 29 in Wood Street. He was later pronounced dead on March 6.

Police arrested Tyron Bryan, 20, of Willingham way, Kingston that same day.

He was charged with possession of points and blades and affray and appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on March 2 where he was remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday, March 26.

On March 12, he was further charged with murder and grievous bodily harm. He is due to appear in custody on Friday at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.

Another man has also been charged in relation to the incident.

Police arrested Finley Ahwan, 20, on March 1. He was charged with attempted grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving.

He attended Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on March 3 and was granted bail to next appear at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday, March 26.

Police arrested two other men in connection with the incident.

An 18 year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on February 29. He has since been bailed to return later in March.

A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray on February 29. There is no further action against him.
