TOPLOADER are set to have guests 'Dancing in the Moonlight' at Rhyl Pavilion later this year.

This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the band's debut album 'Onka's Big Moka’ being released.

To celebrate the landmark birthday, Toploader will perform at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre on Saturday, May 30.

With over 82.2 million streams on Spotify in 2019, the 'Onka's Big Moka' album featured a string of top 20 singles including critically acclaimed fans favourite 'Achilles Heel' and global hit and King Harvest cover song ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’, which spent more than a year in European airplay charts.

The total streams for the album now exceeds 200 million making them one of the UK’s most listened to bands.

The set at Rhyl Pavilion will include all the singles from the 'Onka's Big Moka’, which sold over two million copies and remained in the top 5 of the UK album chart for over six months earning the band four Brit Award nominations, plus some of the bands favourite tracks and a few classic covers.

Singer Joe Washbourn is excited to be coming to Rhyl for this special anniversary show. He said: “We wanted to create a live set that has people on their feet dancing from start to the finish. We can’t wait to get out and play these songs this coming summer!”

Over the years, Toploader have backed the likes of Paul Weller, Robbie Williams, Noel Gallagher, Tom Jones, Simple Minds and Bon Jovi, where they became the last British band to play at the original Wembley Stadium.
