Entrants and the winner of Richmond Runfest are in with another chance of a free holiday trip to the Cayman Islands this year.

Last year’s Richmond marathon winner, Olympian Chris Thompson won the holiday prize and also broke the Cayman Island Half Marathon course record (1:07:47) in December 2019, as he celebrated his holiday in style.

And, there is also a 'random spot prize' that will be offered to an entrant of this year's competition.

Adrian White, Cayman Dept of Tourism says: “The Cayman Islands are a fantastic British Caribbean Island that I am sure will act as a huge incentive for the winners of the Half and Full Marathon and the lucky winner of the draw.

"The winners will get a chance to run the IAAFsanctioned Cayman Marathon - or Half as well as, enjoy the miles of beautiful white sandy beaches, clear turquoise seas and Caymanian hospitality.

"I am also thrilled to be able to support wider participation in the Richmond RUNFEST.”

Residents who want to be in with a chance of joining the winners of the Marathon and Half Marathon in the Cayman Island paradise this year, will need to register for either the 5k, 10k, Half Marathon or Full Marathon on the 12th or 13th September 12, or September 13.

All registrants over 18 will then automatically be entered into the holiday prize draw.
