A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a pedestrian was hit by a car this morning.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 10.53ams on Friday to reports of a crash in Coulsdon Road, Coulsdon.
At the scene, a Renault Clio had crashed into with a woman, aged in her 70s.
The injured woman was taken by London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital suffering from a head injury. Her condition is not life threatening.
The female driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. She was taken to a south London police station where she remains at this time.
