A teenage boy was left with facial injuries after a reported daylight attack in the middle of Wallington on Thursday (January 9)
Officers were called to Stafford Road to reports of an "altercation" at around 5.50pm.
Upon arrival officers discovered the boy, but the suspects - who reportedly were armed with a knife - had already fled the scene.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Police were called to reports of an altercation in Stafford Road, Wallington.
"Officers attended and found a male in his mid-teens suffering facial injuries – he did not have any stab injuries.
"However, the suspects were reported to be in the possession of a knife.
"Officers searched the area for the suspects and any other injured parties but there was no trace.
"No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue."
