Two teenagers, one from Greenwich, have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man found dead in Brighton.

Police were called to a building on North Street in Brighton on Thursday afternoon, where they found the man's body.

An 18-year-old from Greenwich and a 16-year-old of no fixed address have both been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Officers attended the property following a report of concerns for a person on Thursday afternoon.

"The death of the man is being treated as murder and the full circumstances remain under investigation. Inquiries are ongoing to identify him.

"As part of the investigation, officers are conducting inquiries in the city centre this morning."

Chief Superintendent Nick May said: "We are at the very early stages of an investigation to establish what has happened in this tragic incident."
