A pensioner is fighting for his life following a fall in Croydon.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 3.53pm on January 1 to a report of a man falling from a height in Bishops Road, Croydon.
A Met spokesman said: "Officers, the LAS and London’s Air Ambulance Service attended and found a man in his 80s injured.
"He was taken to a west London hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition."
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
