Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman wanted in connection with the theft of £800 worth of gold jewellery from a Weybridge shop.

Footage from CCTV cameras show a man and woman enter Church House Antiques in Church Street on Saturday, October 27, between 3.20pm and 3.35pm.

The man put a gold chain around his neck while the woman distracted the shop owner by asking them to write down the prices of three other pieces of jewellery.

The pair left, claiming to be going to get cash, and made off in a dark blue car towards Addlestone with the gold chain and another gold bracelet, worth £800 in total.

The man is of Middle Eastern appearance, mid to late 30s, black collar length hair, wearing beige or grey linen trousers and a grey or beige padded jacket.

The woman is of Middle Eastern appearance, mid to late 30s, long black hair tied up in a scarf, wearing a long shirt with colourful patterns and a tunic top with colourful printed patterns.
