The Mayor of Richmond has expressed her delight at the communities response to fix Twickenham's Christmas Tree.

Residents, Richmond's Deputy Mayor and staff from the Fire Emergency Services were all in attendance on December 14, and ready to help to decorate Twickenham's Christmas tree after it has been destroyed by vandals at the beginning of December.

In a statement posted online the Mayor of Richmond said: "Our Deputy is at Twickenham Riverside with the community to help decorate the replacement Christmas tree with lots of help from very small people to @LondonFire who helped put out the previous tree!!.
"Making a positive difference to our residents, Happy Christmas to all!"
