Police are yet to make any arrests more than a week after a man was stabbed in Mitcham.

The Met were called by the London Ambulance Service at 6.44pm on Tuesday, December 3 to reports of an injured man on London Road at the junction with Victoria Road.

"Officers attended and found a man, aged in his mid-20s, suffering from a stab wound," a Met spokesman said.

He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment where his injuries where initially described as not life-threatening. He has been discharged following treatment.

At this stage, there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
