In Sutton there are two constituencies where voters will head to the polls on Thursday (December 12).
In Carshalton and Wallington there are six candidates Tom Brake for the Liberal Democrats, Elliot Colburn for the Conservative Party, Ashley Dickenson of the Christian People’s Alliance, Tracey Hague of the Green Party, Ahmad Wattoo of the Labour Party and James Woudhuysen of the Brexit Party.
While in Sutton and Cheam there are four candidates standing. That’s Hina Bokhari of the Liberal Democrats, Bonnie Craven of Labour, Claire Jackson-Prior of the Green Party and Paul Scully from the Conservative Party.
By now if you are registered to vote you should have received a polling card which tells you where you will have to go to cast your vote.
If you have not received one you should contact electoral services, but you do not need to take the polling card with you to actually vote.
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm and on arrival you’ll be asked to confirm your name and address.
You’ll be given a ballot paper where you mark an X to the right of the candidate you want to vote for.
