Police have launched an investigation into a reported rape in Dartford Heath on Thursday, with large areas of woodlands taped off.

Numerous police vehicles arrived at Dartford Heath on Friday and have cordoned off a large part of the woodlands after a woman was attacked in the early hours of Thursday, December 5.

Kent Police received reports that whilst in woodland near Rochester Way in Dartford, the woman was pushed to the ground and raped.

A statement from Kent Police said: "Police investigating the rape that is reported to have happened on Thursday, 5 December 2019 have cordoned off part of Dartford Heath as part of their investigation.

"It is reported that in the early hours of Thursday a woman was in woodland near Rochester Way, Dartford when she was pushed to the ground and raped."
