A schoolboy missing from Inverness who was last seen in Paisley five days ago has been traced safe and well by police.

Callum Ross was last spotted at accommodation in the town at around 1.30pm on Monday.

The 14-year-old is from Inverness, but is known to travel by train from Paisley to Glasgow to Inverness, and is often seen in these areas.

Police have now confirmed Callum has been traced safe and well, and thanked the public for their assistance.
