A man was left with minor injuries after his car ploughed into a Purley front garden.
The car, which overturned in Foxley Lane at around 3am this morning, narrowly missed the home owner's new Bentley car which was parked outside the house.
Firefighters had to cut the driver out of the car who was removed from the wreckage on a spinal board and taken to hospital.
Fire engines from Wallington, Purley and Croydon fire stations all attended the incident.
