A crime scene has been set up at Disraeli Close after gun shots were reported on Sunday.

Police were called at 1:38pm on November 24 to reports of shots fired in Thamesmead, SE28.

Specialist firearms officers attended the scene, but no victims or suspects have yet been identified .

Officers from the Trident and Area Crime Command continue to investigate the incident, and a crime scene remains in place on Disraeli Close.

Witnesses said police had taped off the road and officers were carrying out door to door enquiries last night.

The Met Police said: "Police were called at 13:38hrs on Sunday, 24 November to reports of shots fired at Disraeli Close, SE28.

"Specialist firearms officers attended, a crime scene remains in place, and enquires continue."
