Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) in Teddington have revealed that a burglary took place over the weekend at a garage.
The break-in was reported just off Church Road and prompted MPS Teddington to remind residents of what to do after a burglary has taken place.
If there has been an unauthorised and untied search at your address or place of business the best thing to do would be to leave the area so that it is easier for forensics to gather evidence.
Also refrain from touching anything so that the scene can be preserved for analysis of possible fingerprints, footprints and DNA.
According to the Metropolitan Police website at least seven residential homes in Teddington were broken into during September and the main point of entry for burglars was either through a front or side door.
