A steaming gang assaulted passengers and stole from them as they rampaged through a busy Croydon tram last night.
A number of passengers were attacked by the men between West Croydon and Lebanon Road both on the tram and at the stop around 10pm.
A 16-year-old youth has been arrested for assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
British Transport Police believe there may be a number of witnesses who can assist their investigation.
