Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by two males in Richmond at around 04:28pm on November 5.

The victim was accosted by two men as she walked from Queens Road to North Worple Way, SW14.

Detective Inspector Joanne Flynn of South West Command Unit based in Richmond:“Although this has the appearance of an isolated incident, we have increased patrols in the area and are in the process of making CCTV enquiries.

"One offence of this nature is one too many.

"If you have information that can help us apprehend these suspects please don’t hesitate to contact us.”

The males tore her clothing and molested her.

The victim, fought back and escaped her attackers.

Although not physically injured, the victim was justifiably shocked by the incident and is being supported by specialist officers.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1:

A tall, olive-skinned, possibly mixed race, man aged 40-50 years.

He was wearing a black, knee-length jacket with the hood up, black gloves, black shoes and possibly a mask/facial covering.

Suspect 2:

A white male, clean shaven, of stocky build, shorter than suspect one.

He wore a dark, short oversized puffa jacket, hoodie and navy beanie hat with black trousers.
