England rugby World Cup hero Paul Sackey will attend a school assembly in his honour next week at John Fisher School, Purley.
The 27-year-old ex-pupil is due to speak to staff and pupils about his pride at playing for England in the Rugby World Cup final.
Mike Davies, Sackey's former teacher and head of PE at the school, said: "Paul is in regular contact with us at the school and often comes in to help coach the children. We have always been incredibly proud of him."
The England hero credits his former school with developing his passion for rugby.
