Police are investigating after a teenager was attacked outside a tram stop.

Officers were called at 12:59pm on November 6 to reports of a robbery near New Addington Tram Stop.

The victim, aged in his late teens, was found suffering facial injuries and was taken to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service with non life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

The victim told officers that he was attacked by a group of youths who stole his mobile phone.

No arrests have been made and police enquiries continue.
