Epsom man Seamus Henry has been found after he went missing 19 days ago, Surrey Police announced on Wednesday evening.

Mr Henry was found in London earlier today (November 6), police said:

"Missing Epsom man Seamus Henry, 65, who has not been seen for 19 days, has been found safe and well.

"Seamus was found in London earlier today (6 November), and is being brought back to Surrey," a spokesperson for the county police force said.

Police had issued several emergency appeals for help in the search for Mr Henry after he went missing from Epsom on October 18.

The Comet shared the information appeal and reported how police had become "extremely concerned" for his wellbeing as the search lengthened.

Police thanks all those who had helped spread the word on Wednesday after confirming that Mr Henry was returning to Surrey.

"We would like to thank everyone who assisted us with our search and shared our appeal," a spokesperson said.
