A person was taken to a major trauma centre yesterday afternoon after suffering a medical emergency.
Residents reported seeing two Air Ambulances land near Garth Road in Morden just before 2pm on Monday.
A spokeswoman for the emergency service confirmed they were called to the area.
"Our advanced trauma team was dispatched via aircraft by London Ambulance Service at 1.55pm on Monday, November 4 to reports of an incident in the London Road area.
"After treatment on scene the patient was transferred by road to a major trauma hospital accompanied by London’s Air Ambulance.”
A spokesman for the LAS expanded on that by adding they were called at 1.35pm to reports of a "person unwell" in London Road, Sutton.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, three medics in cars and an advanced paramedic."
Neither could confirm the condition of the patient.
