A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Coulsdon this afternoon.
Police were called to Stoats Nest Road, Coulsdon, at 1.30pm on Sunday to reports of a stabbing.
Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
A 30-year-old man was found with stab injuries.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
His condition has been assessed as critical but stable.
At this early stage in the investigation, it is believed the stabbing took place at a property in Hartley Old Road.
A 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting GBH.
She has been taken into custody and nquiries continue
