How did Millwall's players fare in their victory against Stoke?

Bartosz Bialkowski – 6

Hardly tested all evening but commanded his box well to ensure he collected every cross which Stoke whipped in.

Murray Wallace – 7

Not the most mobile of full-backs but he is growing into his new position after every game. Solid performance.

Shaun Hutchinson – 8

Gave Lee Gregory a welcoming he would not forget as a clattering tackle in the opening minute reminded the striker that he was in a dog fight all afternoon.

Jake Cooper – 7

Easy enough afternoon for him.

Mahlon Romeo – 8

An opening down his flank gave him a license to bomb forward and cause all sorts of problems for Stoke.

Shaun Williams – 6

Transitioned the ball through the midfield in the first half but as Stoke grew more into the game his relevance to the side diminished as his legs tired.

Jayson Molumby –  7

His performance was characterised by a 50-yard meaningless sprint to close down Adam Federici which got the crowd off their seats in the second half.

Shane Ferguson – 6

Worked hard but a meaningless tackle in the first half cut his afternoon short as a precaution.

Jed Wallace – 9

Whether it is on the left, down the middle or on the right he was the nuance that Stoke failed to subdue. His cross for Thompson’s goal was pitch-perfect and he made no mistake from the spot for his own.

Ben Thompson –  8

His performances of late have warranted a goal and he got it today as he flourished in that central attacking position all afternoon.

Tom Bradshaw – 7

Did not get that elusive fifth consecutive goal he would have wanted but his work for the team never goes unnoticed.
