The scene in Worcester Park
A car which was driven at police in an attempt to ram them has now been seized.
The black VW Golf was spotted on the A3 Esher bypass southbound around 3.20pm on Monday, October 21 October).
A pursuit took place and the car was stopped in Central Road, Worcester Park, around 4pm.
The car was searched and has subsequently been seized.
During the search, two catapults were found.
A spokeswoman for Surrey Police said: "The car was believed to be linked to an incident two days before (October 19), when a vehicle was stopped by Metropolitan Police officers.
"As one of the officers approached the vehicle, it reversed at the officer before making off."
The matter is now being dealt with by the Met Police.
